J.W. Swanson & Associates, LLC.

O’Rourke & Swanson was founded in 1952 by Jack Swanson and Neil O’Rourke. They started the Company after Jack served in the Army designing jet rocket engines. After World War 2 ended, Jack worked for Bell Aerospace selling rocket engines and then moved on to start a manufacturer’s representative business selling HVAC equipment with Neil. After Neil’s death at age 45, Jack continued on as J.W. Swanson & Associates.

The Company has grown their reputation on specialize engineered solutions with high quality HVAC products. J.W. Swanson & Associates has a continued commitment to excellence, satisfied customers, and a goal of exceeding expectations. With this formula, the Company has grown to 3 offices in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse with 11 salesmen and a highly qualified in-house staff.

J.W. Swanson & Associates is proud of their partnership with many manufacturers and Upstate Systems, Inc., a sister company, distributing residential and small commercial HVAC equipment and supplies. These partnerships have helped to maneuver through changing markets, manufacturer’s adjustments, evolving competition and every type of business cycle. The Companies salesmen call on engineers, architects, owners, mechanical contractors and institutions throughout the Western New York Region.
